Samuel was a renowned Architect throughout the country. All his life he had built many beautiful houses and structures. He was famous for his unique and beautiful designs and thinking. He and his company had won many awards and titles. He was one of the best in his profession.

Samuel was a tall and muscular person. He was in his early fifties but was fit. He had blue eyes and some grey hair. He had a stunning personality with long beard and perfectly fitting clothes. One could easily consider him as an actor. He started his Architect profession when was twenty-two years old. All his life he dedicated it to designs and Architect. He was not married and was also not planning to. But he was thinking of retirement. He thought that his mind has given out all his ideas and it has come to the best of ideas it can deliver. He was thinking of retiring to a beautiful place with greenery with pure air and an awesome climate. He was also thinking of giving part-time lessons to the students.

One day early in the morning when he was having his breakfast after returning from the morning run. He heard his front doorbell. He left his unfinished breakfast to open the door. When he opened the door, he saw a man in an army uniform standing steady in Infront of him. That man greeted Samuel and asked his permission to come in. That man was General Tee. He was the chief commander of the army and was a very reputed person. Samuel was a bit shocked to see him but greeted and asked him to enter the house.

Samuel offered a cup of black coffee to General Tee and both sat on the sofa in the hall. General Tee told Samuel that he is going to retire next year. He had delivered all his life for the country but know he wanted to give something to his family. General Tee wanted Samuel to build him a perfect house which is a total masterpiece. It should showcase his personality. It should be the best among all his designs till now. It should be like a treasure which anyone would want. General Tee was filled with emotions while expressing his feelings for his new home.

Samuel wanted to say no as he was out of all his ideas. He was thinking that he already designed the best. But he didn’t want to upset the General. He told the General to give him some time before saying yes. General agreed and left. The whole day Samuel kept on thinking and was not able to eat properly. Finally, he made up his mind and told yes to the General on the phone. Samuel decided that this project will be his last and he thought that after designing a house for the reputed and liked General, he would be known by everyone and can even book a space for himself in history books.

All his day he kept on thinking about the idea. He made a few designs but rejected them as it was not good. He reflected on his old designs to find inspiration but they all were too good that it was very difficult to make a new one that will be better than them. A month had passed but he was not able to get an idea. Every day after getting up he would think of ideas for his design. Even during performing daily chores, he would never stop thinking, but it was no good. Finally, he decided to go to the mountains for some inspiration. He thought nature could help him with his new design of the General house.

He went to a nearby mountain and started climbing it. It was a tourist spot but at that time not many tourists were there. During his journey, he noticed many things. He saw a waterfall, butterflies. Beautiful flowers and birds. But all these things he had put in his older designs. He was not able to notice anything new. Finally, he got irritated and sat down on the ground under a tree. The cold wind started flowing and he felt somewhat relaxed. He closed his eyes for some time and when he opened his eyes, he saw something. He finally got his idea for the design of the General house.

A year had passed, and the new house was ready. Everyone including the media came to see the General house. When they were allowed to enter that area, they rushed towards the new house. But no one was more excited than General Tee and his family to see the new house. When they reached the house and saw it, they were a lit bit confused. The house was large and with all facilities. But it had an ordinary design compared to other Samuel’s designs. Samuel took a mic and started explaining his point of view on building that house.

Samuel told everyone just imagine how the beauty of the flowers is increased when we see some dry leaves beside it. This is what he saw in those mountains. Like those dry leaves, this ordinary house will act as a supporting structure to enhance the beauty of all his designs made to date. Anything which increases someone’s value is always the best and great. General Tee had dedicated all his life to others and not for his selfish motives. This house will be a perfect place for him and his family. Everyone started applauding including the General and his family. They all started praising Samuel and his new design. General Tee was very happy and thanked Samuel for all his efforts.

Detective Osha the Owl

It was a beautiful morning. There was a freshness in the air. The climate was cool and calm. Samaya the sparrow had just woke up. She saw her new eggs which she laid a week ago. The eggs were doing just fine. There was a week before the babies come out of it. She was feeling hunger. She got up and saw everywhere to know the situation. Everything was calm and she couldn’t see anyone around. She flew away from the nest in search of food.

She had a good meal but when she came back, she saw that one of her eggs was missing. She had laid a total of five eggs, but one egg was missing. She got tense and started searching here and there making loud noises. By listening to her voice an eagle came to see her and started asking questions. She explained everything and started crying. The eagle consoled Samaya and gave her a suggestion. The suggestion was to hire a detective. The eagle knew an owl who lived nearby and had solved a few cases. Samaya told the eagle that she would do anything to find her egg. So, they both went to the detective owl whose name was Osha.

Osha the owl was a young detective. He had just started his investigation journey. He wanted to become a great detective. He had solved a few cases. When Samaya and the eagle approached him, he was reading a book. Samaya told him everything. At first, he thought of not taking the case as he was approached by someone else for the case of lost diamonds. The loss of the diamond case can be a breakthrough for his career. But he saw the eyes of Samaya in which he saw love and affection towards her children. So he agreed and all of them left for the crime scene.

When Oslo reached the nest, he asked Samaya to tell every incident in a detailed manner that has happened his morning. Samaya started thinking about every detail and told Oslo every memory she can recover. Then Oslo took out his big magnifier glass to check every detail of the crime scene. He saw a small feather of black colour in the crime scene. That feather doesn’t have any resemblance with Samaya. He thought in his mind that this feather might belong to the suspect. When he was thinking all this his eyes fell on the eagle’s feather. He thought that the eagle might be the criminal.

He approached the eagle and started asking questions about relationships with Samaya and what was he doing during this incident. Eagle first got tensed a lit bit but answered every question of Oslo. Samaya also added that the eagle is very kind. He always helps others whoever needs him. Then Oslo asked Samaya asked who else know about your eggs and their location. Samaya told Oslo that apart from her husband which left her a few months ago only the eagle and a crow knows about her eggs. Oslo wanted to know more about the crow. So he asked Samaya can you tell me about this Mr. Crow more. Samaya told that she met this crow when she went to a nearby lake for water. She met him a few times and they have become friends.

Oslo to continue his investigation went to Mr. Crow’s house along with Samaya and the eagle. When they went to the crow’s nest, the crow could not be found anywhere. Oslo saw a haystack in a crow’s nest. When Oslo removed the haystack, he saw an eggshell hidden under it. When Samaya saw this, she started crying loudly and started cursing the crow. The eagle consoled her and told Samaya that they will surely give punishment to crow.

When the crow arrived, the eagle grabbed him and started cursing and beating him. Oslo got between them and asked him to remain calm. Crow was all confused. When Oslo asked the crow about the eggshell and Samaya’s baby. The crow replied that this morning he when to Samaya nest to meet her. She was not there but the eggshell was lying in her nest. He took the eggshell as he thought that Samaya won’t be needing it anymore.

Oslo asked the crow that means when you reached the nest, the egg was already broken. The crow replied yes. Some thought came to Oslo's mind and he started flying back to Samaya’s nest. He went straight to the bottom of the tree where the Samaya’s nest was located. He also searched the whole area and found Samaya’s baby somewhere in the bushes. He took the baby to the nest. When Samaya came back she hugged her baby. She was in relief. She thanked Oslo. Oslo then Samaya that her baby came out early of the egg and fell off the nest into the dense bushes which saved his life.

Rajesh had just passed out of his college and he was moving to the metro city in search of a job. He was invited to the metro city by one of his friends from college, who was also his senior during college days. He advised Rajesh to come and visit the metro city and search for a job as there are many big tech companies in that city. He also told Rajesh that he can stay in his room till the time he finds it comfortable to live in that city. He promised Rajesh to help him for securing a good job and to settle in that new city. Rajesh was in his early twenties with an average look with brown eyes and a slim body. By looking at him you can say he hadn’t combed his hair for many days. He was a timid person who doesn’t talk to anyone except when he needed anything. He was good in studies but was not able to secure college placement as he got ill at that time. He belonged to a lower-middle-class family. Rajesh’s father was a clerk in the government office and his mother was a housewife. He had one brother and one sister, both were younger than

him and were studying in school. He was now moving to the big city in search of a secure career.

When Rajesh reached the metro city. He was welcomed by his friend in the Railway-station. They both traveled to the room on a bike. When they reached the room, Rajesh’s friend showed him where he can sleep and all the important rooms of that house. He also helped Rajesh to settle in that room within a few days. Rajesh was now all settled and started searching for job opportunities online.

Rajesh found many job opportunities but was not able to secure an offer letter from any company. Sometimes he was not able to clear the qualifying exams and sometimes he was not able to crack the interview. This carried on for two months. He was continuously improving his skills and was preparing for it.

 Finally, he was able to secure a job in a big MNC. It was his first day in the office. After all the necessary formalities, he was taken to the training room. The training room was small and compact, it had two columns and five rows with computers on each table. It was packed except for the last row. Rajesh made himself comfortable in that row. After some time another person entered the training room and sat next to Rajesh. During the training, Rajesh was not able to find some things on his computer. He asked the person sitting next to him for some help. The person guided Rajesh and they both continued with their training.

At the end of the meeting, Rajesh thanked the person sitting next to him and introduced himself. The person sitting next to Rajesh also introduced himself. His name was Monty. They both talked a little and then went on their way. Monty was a well-built person. By looking at him you can say he is going to the gym daily.  For a few weeks, Rajesh and Monty casually talked to each other and spent most of the office time together. They were now close friends.

One day Monty asked Rajesh that if he knew any good property for rent in that city. The property in which he lives is very small and he is thinking to relocate. Rajesh told Monty that if he gets any information regarding any property for rent, he will let him know. That day when Rajesh reached his home, his friend and room partner told Rajesh that he has got a better job in another city and he will be leaving that room in one month.

Rajesh was shocked a bit but was also happy for his friend. He congratulated his friend and asked for a treat as well. They both talked for some time and then went to sleep. Rajesh however was scared to live alone in that big city. A week later when Monty met Rajesh, he told him that he had found a suitable property and will be shifting very soon. Rajesh told him about his friend and asked Monty that if he can stay with him in his flat.

Monty agreed as the flat was big and had two bedrooms. Rajesh was happy but he first informed Monty that he has a habit of smoking cigarettes. To this Monty replied that he can stay with him but whenever he wants to smoke, he must go outside the flat or go to the balcony. Monty also told Rajesh that he has lived with one of his friends in a flat in the past who used to smoke during college days. He has no problem living with him as well.

Within a month Rajesh and Monty had shifted to their new flat. Monty had a very kind and helpful nature. He used to help the people in society with small things. Even he used to buy groceries and other necessities for Rajesh as well when Rajesh was busy. He used to pay rent on time and did most of the daily house chores.

One day Rajesh saw that there is a sale on the cigarette packets when he visited a shop. The cigarette packets will be given at discounted price if anyone buys a whole lot. Rajesh thought that he can save a lot of money if he buys the whole cigarette packets for the next six months today. When he reached home, he told Monty to keep these cigarette packets with himself and give them one by one whenever he asks for them. Rajesh knew if he keeps these cigarette packets with himself, he will end up smoking all the cigarettes within one week. So, to control himself Rajesh gave them to Monty. Monty agreed and said that he should try to smoke a little less as it is dangerous for his health.

One day Monty got an emergency call from his hometown in the morning, and he left the flat by informing Rajesh that he might return in a week. Rajesh didn’t ask Monty about the emergency as Monty was in a big hurry. That night Rajesh was feeling the desire to smoke but only Monty knew where he had hidden Rajesh’s secret. Rajesh didn’t want to make a call as it might disturb Monty. He decides to go inside Monty’s room and search for the cigarettes all by himself. When he was searching Monty’s room for cigarettes, he found a hidden closet in the Almira. When he opened the closet, he was shocked to see what was inside. It was a GUN!!

The whole night Rajesh was not able to sleep. He was having several thoughts about Monty. He was thinking that Monty could be a terrorist or a criminal of any sort and he might harm him any day. Rajesh planned to leave the house first thing in the morning. When he opened the front door in the morning to leave. He was shocked to see Monty outside as he didn’t expect Monty to return so early. When Monty entered the flat, he saw the packed luggage of Rajesh. He asked Rajesh that if he is leaving for any emergency as well.

Rajesh could not control his emotions and thoughts. The gun from last night was roaming around his mind. He was angry and afraid at the same time, as he looked up to Monty and wanted to become like him. Rajesh told everything to Monty about last night in an angry and loud voice and he also told him that he didn’t want to live with any sort of criminal.

Monty was shaken for a bit, but he told Rajesh that I think it’s time for him to know the whole truth. He told Rajesh that he is an undercover agent of the government of India. He was assigned on a mission to catch a person who was giving jobs to undesirable candidates in the company by taking a huge amount of money as a bribe. Yesterday morning they have caught that person and it is time for him to leave that company as well the city. He also told Rajesh that he is telling all this to him as he has found a great friend in him and he believes in Rajesh that he will keep all this a secret. Rajesh was shocked after hearing the complete story. He had no words in his mouth. He was standing still in a place with his mouth open.

Odourless Flower

There was a big green valley with lots of trees and plants. A big and clean river flowed through that valley. The climate was pleasant and warm. It was heaven on earth. In that same valley was a flower garden, in which lots of variety of flowers were growing. In that garden was a very rare variety of flowers name “Cresenta”. It was a rare bread as it can grow in that climate only. It was a very beautiful flower and lots of tourists use to visit that garden to see that flower.

Crescenta was not happy at all. As she was an odorless flower and she was always used to a thing that if she had any sort of scent, she would be appreciated even more. Many more tourists will come from around the world to see its beauty and scent. But in reality, she was a little bit jealous of a flower named “Roselia” as it had a very nice scent that used to spread across the flower garden whenever wind flowed. Roselia was not as beautiful as Crescenta but she had a very beautiful scent that was increasing her number of visitors each day.

But all Cresenta wanted was fame for herself only. She couldn’t stand the view of any other flower getting appreciation and fame more than her or at all. She wanted to remain the only appreciable flower in that whole garden.

One night during the night with no moon, she saw a falling star. She asked the falling star to give her the most beautiful scent that no other flower had in the entire world. The next day she wished came true. She had the most beautiful scent in the entire world.

Cresenta was now the most beautiful flower with the most pleasant smell in the entire world. Lots of tourists now wanted to see that flower and they use to stand in queue for hours just to take a glance at her. She was enjoying her fame and appreciation. She was now so happy.

But after some time, she was attacked by bugs and insects. Her smell was so good that even insects and bugs from far away came to that garden to attack her. But they were not able to attack Roselia as nature had given her thorns and natural cover to be protected from these insects and bugs. But that was not in the case of Crescenta. As she didn’t have any odor, nature didn’t give her any protection as she wouldn’t need any. Slowly the insects and bugs destroyed Cresenta’s beauty and so she was banished from the face of that flower garden.

Moral: We should always appreciate what nature has given us and should never be jealous of others.

Delivery

Ramesh was one of the many delivery executives who use to work for the food delivery industry. He was tall and thin. He looked like a weak person who hadn’t had their proper meal for many days. Ramesh was from the poor family background. He had lost his father when he was ten years old, his mother use to work as a maid and he had one brother and one sister. He was the eldest among all his siblings. So he had his family responsibility from a young age.

He was working part-time and was also completing his graduation along with it. He wanted a decent lifestyle in which his family could have anything they wanted. Ramesh’s brother and sister use to study in school and they didn’t work.

He use to deliver the food in an old vehicle that belonged to his father. He wanted a new one, but he can’t afford it. Many times the vehicle had stopped during delivery but Ramesh anyhow use to deliver that food on time. But he use to become so much exhausted that he was not able to get ready for the next delivery. He had to take a long break between two deliveries when his vehicle use to stop working properly.

In the morning when he use to leave for work or college, he use to spend ten rupees on poha or idle from a nearby stall, which didn’t fill his stomach but was enough to get him going. He use to leave his house early in the morning and didn’t want to trouble his family members for anything. At lunchtime, he use to have two bananas or a ten rupees meal and the same thing he use to do for dinner. Sometimes he use to have evening tea. He didn’t have any had habits of drinking alcohol or chewing tobacco products. He was a decent boy with dreams.

On the occasion of the companies tenth anniversary, the company had announced an incentive for the delivery executives who had or will be completing their regular 150 deliveries on time and without any customer complaints. Ramesh had completed his 149 deliveries and he was eligible for the incentive if he was able to complete this 1 last delivery. This incentive will be a huge help for Ramesh. He can buy a new vehicle for deliveries and can also solve some of his family problems.

One day when he was going for his last delivery, he saw a man lying on the road with blood coming from his head. People gathered around him were not helping him at all. Ramesh wanted to help that man but if he take that man to the hospital, he could lose his regular deliveries which took him six months to complete. On one hand, he had his incentive and on the other hand the life of that man. He selected the life of that man as he can earn his incentive in coming six or early but once the man losses his life he cannot come back.

Ramesh rushed towards the man and took him to the hospital in an auto. He waited there for 2 hours till the doctor operated on that man. The man was now out of danger but was not awake. When the family of that man came, Ramesh was shocked to see that one of the family members was the owner of the delivery company in which he was working. The man lying in the bed was the father of the delivery company owner. He thanked Ramesh and told him that his father went for a morning walk all alone and it might be a vehicle that had hit him on his way. He is now safe all because of him. He also asked Ramesh how he found his father and if there is anything he can do in return. Ramesh first declined his offer politely and then narrated the whole incident. By listening to Ramesh, the owner of the company found that Ramesh was not in a financially stable condition, and he was also a decent and hardworking boy. So he decided to buy him a new vehicle and also give him the incentive amount.

A night in the call center - Thriller

Arjun was a struggling model. He was in his late twenties, a tall boy with a fit muscular body. After completing his graduation all he wanted was to become a successful model. He had won many competitions during his college days. Now all he wanted was a big break into the fashion world. He had given many auditions but all of it was of no use as this industry had many competitions. He was struggling for a few years and was also losing interest in it. His father who owned a small grocery shop back in his hometown was calling him back to work in that shop. Arjun’s father saw no future for Arjun in modeling, and he wanted Arjun to settle down and get married. Arjun was trying to remain positive and thought one day all his struggle would pay him for good.

Six months back he had joined a call center to earn his living and to pay his bill. It was a big MNC with less work pressure and with all facilities, an employee could hope for. Arjun use to work night shifts from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am. Around 1:00 am he use to take a tea break and go to a tea stall outside his office. He didn’t like the tea which was provided in his office. He never completed his assigned task within the allotted time and usually took his task for granted as he thought that call center jobs are easy to find and devoted most of his time wondering about his dream to become a model.

It was the night of 31st December and Arjun had to work in his office because he took many leaves through the year for a modeling audition. He was compensating for those leaves. He was alright with it as he had no New year plans and wanted more leaves next year for his modeling audition. Moreover there use to be hardly any call at that time of year as what he had heard from his colleagues. Arjun was a technical support provider and if any problem arrives in the home appliances, he use to provide customer support for it.

That night Arjun was sitting at his desk and was watching some online series on his mobile phone as he had no work to do at that time. He also saw a few people in their cubical. But most of the office was empty and a night guard was watching the entrance and exit. Around 1:00 am as usual he took his tea break and went down to have his tea. While he was walking towards that tea stall, he could feel the cold breeze. It was the coldest night of the year, streets were empty and it was pin-drop silence in the road. Not even the dogs were barking. When he reached the tea stall, he saw that it was close, so he went back to his office.

While going back to his office he could feel that someone was following him, but he was dead scared to look back and just started running towards his office. When he reached the office entrance, he took a break from running and also took a deep breath. He entered the office and planned to stay there the whole night thinking that this night should get over early so that he could go home in the morning. But this night was far from over and had plans for Arjun.

While sitting in his chair he thought about having coffee for a change. So he went to the coffee wending machine which was at one corner of the office. While going towards the machine he couldn’t see anyone in that office and remembered that there was also no security guard at the entrance. He finally reached the coffee machine and started making coffee for himself. He drank the coffee and went back to his desk.

When he returned to his desk, he saw a sticky note attached to the corner of his monitor, that said: “Getting Bored, wanna play a game”. He thought it was one of his colleagues and shouted yes with curiosity as he wanted to divert his mind. To his surprise, no one replied, he couldn’t see a single soul around. After some time he went to the washroom and in the mirror of the washroom was a paper attached saying ”You need to go back to your desk and call ten random people from the company network and when they reply hello you need to wish them a happy new year and hang up before they could say anything and then return to this paper and throw it in the dustbin, If you complete this task within three hours you will get a call from a big fashion company in the morning but be aware if you start this game and try to cheat you will get punishment and if you didn’t complete the task within the allotted time there will be consequences”.

Arjun was surprised a little but didn’t bother about it and went back to his desk. After some time, he decided to give it a shot as he didn’t have any work that night. He made his first call, but no one picked, his second call was picked but no one answered and finally, someone picked his third call and said hello, to which Arjun replied happy new year and before the stranger could reply anything, he hung up the call. That is how he started playing the game by wishing the first stranger. After wishing his third stranger he thought that someone was making a fool out of him and was making prank videos or something like that. So to stop this he went back to the washroom and threw that note in the dustbin to end the prank.

Just when he did that the water started coming out of the taps at a fast pace and he was not able to close them as those taps were automatic which opens when anyone puts their hand below it and closes when they remove their hand. He thought it was a technical fault and went towards the washroom door, but he was not able to open it and the water level started rising in the washroom and when he saw the mirror again the note was back in its place and not in the dustbin. He was not able to understand what was happening but knew if he didn’t do anything about it, he would surely drown in the water and die. He tried to call for help but no one answered and even his phone was not showing any signal. He decided to break the door and with his full power started pushing the door. At last with his full-body strength, he was able to break the door, then he ran towards to exit. But he was not able to find the exit door as if it never existed in the first place. He was trapped in the office surrounded by four walls.

He saw the clock on his mobile and already two hours had passed. He thought if this was the punishment then what might be the consequences if he didn’t complete the task in time. So he came back to his desk and started dialing numbers one by one. He was sweating and his hands were crumbling. He was afraid but wanted to complete the task to save his life. He managed to wish nine strangers and now only one stranger was left to be wished within five minutes. Five minutes was all he had to save his life.

This last call would decide his destiny. He dialed the number and waited for the other person to say hello but no one replied. There was no time to make another call. So he took the risk and said happy new year and hung up the call and ran towards the washroom and when he got there he threw the paper inside the dustbin. He was hesitating to see the time on his clock. All of a sudden the lights in the washroom and the office went off and all he was able to hear was telephone rings.

He opened his eyes and he was lying on his desk beside his company’s telephone which was ringing for a long time. He was filled with assurance and took a relief. All this time he was dreaming. He took a deep breath and answered the call. After discussing the issue and giving a solution to his problem the customer said happy new year to which he replied happy new year sir and then hung up the phone. It was almost morning and he was about to leave his office as his shift was going to end.

When he was switching off his monitor, he could feel something sticky at that part of the monitor as if someone attached a sticky note at that place and then removed it. When he was wondering about it at that time his mobile phone rang, it was an unknown number and when he replied to it the voice said “good morning sir sorry to bother you at this time but this was urgent as you have been selected as a model in our company and we wanted some papers of yours within few hours.

Arjun was surprised and was so much happy that he forgot everything and left everything and ran towards the road to grab a cab and collect his papers for the modeling agency. While traveling back to his home he started remembering about the night and about that last phone call. He had so many questions.

Was he able to make that last call? Was he dreaming? Or all this is a part of the consequences of not completing the game within the allotted time.

In the countryside of Australia was a small town called Berkish. Berkish was not so much developed compared to other cities of Australia but it had all necessities for people to survive. The climate remained cool and calm and the street used to remain quiet. Many people had migrated from that town in search of better opportunities. People don’t use bother anyone else in that town and were living by themselves and were passing their days. On one side of the town was a large field and in the center of it was a small house. Not big enough to for a large family but livable enough for two people. The field was large enough to land a plane in it. It was spread across miles of land. No crop was growing in that field and it had a large well.

On the balcony of that house was sitting a man who was looking at the sky glazing at the clouds and the birds and was wondering about the problem in which he had landed himself into.

Simon was a middle-aged man into his late forties, and he was a pilot. The house and the state were the ancestral property of his family and he just came back to it a few weeks back. When he was five years old his father along with the family had left the town as there was a water issue in that town and no crop could grow due to it. Thereafter Simon along with his parents and an elder brother migrated to the big city of Australia.

Simon did his higher studies at Weston University which was in Hemon. Hemon was one of the well-developed cities of Australia. At the age of twenty-five, he became a pilot and by the time he reached thirty, he was well settled and happy. He didn’t have many friends and he hadn’t talked to his brother since their parents’ demise and used to remain alone most of the time. He was happy with that and was enjoying his life. To pass the time he use to go to a nearby club for drinks and food. It was a famous club and many tourists visited that club.

One day when he was enjoying his food in that club, he listened to two people talking about the new private casino which has recently opened into their city. Simon always wanted to visit a casino but didn’t have time to visit one due to his busy schedule and there was no casino in his city. So couldn’t hold himself but asked the two strangers about the location of the new casino. Little he had known that was all the part of a master plan.

The two strangers had greeted Simon politely and asked him to join them. They told him about all the facilities and entry prices of that casino. They befriended him and told him that they are planning to go tomorrow and Simon can join them if he is free tomorrow. Simon never went to the casino so as it was his first experience he agreed.

The next day Simon along with his new friends went to the casino. The casino was in a lavish property and very few people were to be seen. They went inside a private poker room and started playing. Simon first played with a few dollars and by the time he started increasing his bet as he was winning, which is what the strangers had always wanted from the start. They were deliberately letting him win the game.

Within a few months, he became a regular member of that casino. He use to take leaves from his office and use to visit the casino and stay there for the day. He started betting huge amounts as he had loosed only a few times. One day when he was gambling he decided to bet all the winnings which he had won so far. The strangers saw this as a chance and defeated him in that game with the help of other players. The casino and the environment were a setup for Simon and all his winnings were a part of their plan. But why?? What they want from him was still a question??

Simon after losing his months winning was very sad. He couldn’t sleep at night thinking about what he had done wrong and how to get that money back. He was chatting about this with his new friends. He told them that those winning were much higher than all his life savings and even if he plans to bet with his savings, he couldn’t win that amount in a single game. That is when one of the strangers told Simon that he knew one man who could let him any amount of money. But he told him why you don’t take five or six-time your savings amount and win for the last time. That amount will be such huge that you can live your lavishly. Simon liked the idea as he badly wanted to win that lost money and his experience with the casino was also good.

After a few days, Simon took five million dollars from that stranger and promised to return it with interest. When he visited the casino, he couldn’t see anyone there that day. He found it a little bit strange but continued walking to the playing area. That day in that casino Simon lost all his life savings and was in huge debt under a stranger.

He was not able to grasp that situation and was completely lost. The next day when he woke up, he heard his doorbell ringing. When he opened the door there, he saw two tall and bald people who with force entered the house and were asking to return the money with interest which he took from their boss.

Simon begged them for forgiveness and told them that he would return that money to them in time. But the strangers took to him to their boss. The boss asked Simon to hijack a plane for him and do as instructed by his men. They were terrorists and from the start needed Simon to hijack a plane as he was a trained pilot. So now he was in a debt trap. They told him to go to his house and wait for their further instructions. When Simon came back home he packed his bags and to hide from his lenders he went to his ancestral property.

At present when Simon was sitting on the balcony thinking about all this, he saw two black big vehicles coming towards him. They were known other than the terrorist. Simon tried to hide but they found him and told him that if he tries to run again, they will kill him. They told Simon about their plan and which plan they want to him hijack, plane number, its new destination to land, how to tackle security, and everything.

The day came when this plan needs to be executed. Simon was nervous and terrified, but he smoothly boarded the flight. The plan was to capture one of the flight attendants with the help of a gun and take control of the plane's cockpit in exchange for the attendant’s life. But destiny had other plans.

When the flight was in the mid-air the pilot had a heart attack and the plane was too big to be handled by a single co-pilot. When the co-pilot announced the situation to others, everyone in that plane got terrified including Simon. Simon first wanted to save his life so he showed his pilot license to the co-pilot and helped him to land the plane in the nearby airstrip. Simon saw the situation as a signal from God. After landing he told about his situation to the police and all the incident which has happened with him and now with help of Simon police is trying to locate that terrorist. Simon's pilot license was snatched from him but know he didn’t have to face those terrorists and risk the lives of others. He might have to go to jail for some time as well because he illegally took a gun with him on the flight. But he will be rewarded to save the lives of passengers traveling on that plane.

Moral: Gambling is an addiction that has destroyed many lives. Play it carefully and don’t let it take control of you. Gamble only that amount of money which you can afford to lose. Whatever the situation maybe just try to keep your mind cool and try to find a legal way to get out of it.
